RENE DE KONING
Director & Lead Regional Control Tower
Rene de Koning has been working in the logistics industry for +30 years. He brings a broad and deep knowledge in the field of supply chain management, global transport, warehousing, european trucking, customs & VAT, compliance, project- and change management. Previously Rene has worked for Dutch Air, Holland International Distribution Council, Road Air/Rhenus and IJS Global. Rene is Chairman F-35 NIFARP Logistics Cluster and he is involved in the F-35 program since 2006. In 2009 he co-founded OneLogistics and since April 2016 he is the F-35 Logistics Lead for the Netherlands.
Lead Customs & VAT
Gerrit Harmsen has been working for +25 years in the logistics industry. He obtained a wealth of experience in developing solutions in the area EU customs & VAT regulations, fiscal representation as well as export- and customs compliance. Special focus on processes around NL009.</p> <p>Previously Gerrit has worked for Exel, DHL and currently he is owner of Fiscal Rep BV and active in the F-35 program.
Lead Compliance</p> <p>Herman Annink is a seasoned economist and Certified Public Auditor with more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. His expertise lies in the field of sanctions, export controls both from a US and EU perspective, global trade and financial economic crimes. Previously Herman’s work included spearheading key projects in international banks such the establishment and management of departments as well as designing and implementing policies, procedures, systems and measures for AML / CTF, sanction and export control compliance applicable to international trade activities. Herman is the Managing Partner and co-founder of Philip Sidney risk and reputation consultancy firm in Amsterdam, which is active in the F-35 program since 2009.
Lead Spares Planning
Jürgen Donders has been working in logistics/supply chain for +25 years. He brings very detailed knowledge in the field of spare parts- & service supply chain management, process management & key performance indicators as well as procurement strategies. Jürgen held various positions in the Royal Netherlands Airforce (deployments, Squadron Commander 921 Logistics Squadron Airbase Leeuwarden), he worked for Thales and currently Jürgen is partner at Gordian Logistic Experts BV. Jürgen is active in OneLogistics / the F-35 program since 2009.
Lead Life Cycle Management
Harald Kokelkoren has been working in the field of logistics management for +25 years and he brings a detailed knowledge of performance based logistics, management solutions, continuous improvement, business & IT alignment, supply chain management and asset management. Harald started his career in the Royal Netherlands Air Force as maintenance officer on the F-16. He worked as consultant for PwC and he was co-founder of VisionWaves (developed unique software to help companies run their business better). Harald is currently Director of ILIAS Solutions. The ILIAS Defense Platform is a Logistics Management Solution for Navy, Army and Air Force, initially developed on the F-16 in Belgium in the mid-nineties. Currently in version 22, ILIAS supports several F-16 fleets next to a large number of other fleets. Harald is active in OneLogistics / the F-35 program since 2009.
Johan Faes has been working for +30 years in the packing industry and brings a broad and deep experience of packing strategies and solutions to the F-35 program. Johan’s specialties are: packaging and logistics consultancy, packaging design, packaging engineering, packaging software, test facilities and test knowhow for packaging, manufacturing and Global wholesale of durable packaging. Johan is one of the founders of OneLogistics and since 1987 CEO of Faes Group.
Lead Global Freight
Bart Pouwels has a very strong background in aircargo and aircargo strategies. His responsibilities include working with carriers, freight forwarders and consultants to develop Schiphol’s network of destinations and frequency of services, in order to position Schiphol as Global Gateway. He is also tasked with protecting Schiphol’s position among Europe’s major cargo gateways. Schiphol has successfully held third place among Europe’s cargo airports for some years, despite the smaller size of its domestic market of the Netherlands. Bart his knowledge contributes to the F-35 European Gateway, Smart Mainport and secure lane solutions. Before joining Schiphol Cargo as Director Business Development Cargo Bart worked for Jet Services and DHL Express & Freight.<br />
RON VAN T SCHIP
Lead European Road Freight
Ron van t Schip is one of the leading transport entrepreneurs in Europe. For more then 40 years Ron has been active in the field of Eurpean road transport so he brings both knowledge on European trucking but also a network of contacts. After he sold his own European transport company Ron became CEO of Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN) the leading organization in Holland for the logistic and transport industry with over 6.000 members (companies in that industry). Currently Ron is advising companies in various fields of expertise.
Logistics Centre Woensdrecht
A team of Ministry of Defense logistics professionals is managing and operating the warehousing facilities at Logistics Centre Woensdrecht (LCW). The Logistics Team at the LCW has a broad experience in various weaponsystems such as F-16, Apache, Chinook as well as performance based logistics. The state of the art LCW warehouse combines the “best of both worlds”. The warehouse has the characteristics of a military warehouse including the security, safety, military stafing, military certification and compliance requirements combined with the standards of a civil warehouse including AOG desk, 24/7 operations and civil certifications.
Ministry of Economic Affairs
Dik Verduijn has been working for +20 years in the Aerospace industry. Since 2007 he is part of the Dutch Government responsible for the execution of the Dutch Aeronautics Policy. Since 2016, he is responsible for the Industrial Participation in the F-35 program. He has a thorough knowledge on the expertise of the Dutch Aerospace industry, on Aircraft engineering, manufacturing, test and certification and on Aeronautics research programs in both the Civil and Military domain. Previously Dik has worked for Fokker, Stork Aerospace and the National Aerospace Laboratory, NLR. He is a graduate of the Delft University of Technology having obtained a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering.

Special Envoy F-35
Maxime Verhagen, former deputy Prime-Minister of the Netherlands, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, former Minister of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation and currently the Dutch Special Envoy Industrial Participation F-35 Program and is this role he is also Chairman the F-35 Steering Group. Mr Verhagen brings a wealth of knowledge about Global politics & relations, Economics as well as a profound knowledge about the F-35 program.
Karla Peijs former minister of Transport and Waterworks and Queen's Commissioner for the province of Zeeland and currently the chairperson NIDV Foundation. The NIDV Foundation facilitates the sustainable positioning of the Dutch Defence and Security-related Industry (NL-DVI) in national and international orders. Ms Peijs brings a wealth of knowledge about the logistics & transportation industry as well as the defense & security industry.

Aad Veenman former Chairman of the Board Stork, President Director of Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Dutch Railways) and currently Chairman Topteam Logistics of the Topsector Logistics and representing the Topsector Logistics in the F-35 Steering Group. Mr Veenman brings a wealth of knowledge about supply chain management, the global logistics industry, aircraft production & MRO.
