An urgent service bulletin has been issued for the whole F-35 fleet with a short due date. The service bulletin calls for replacing parts using a modification kit including replacement parts and stating the additional and consumable parts not part of the modification kit. The parts replaced need to be returned to the supplier for further investigation. The SSC-CC coordinates the planning of the replacing of parts with the suppliers, users and item managers for the inventories in the EMEA region.

The Royal Netherlands Air Force requests the modification kit for executing the replacement in one of their aircraft at air base Leeuwarden.
