Industry, government and knowledge institutes work closly together to design, develop and roll out supply chain solutions for complex industies such as aerospace & defense.  For the F-35 sustainment,  logistics programs are (and will be) developed that contribute to affordability, supportability , compliancy, agility and scalability.
